Bozo

Wombat, France

Selected by Philippe Starck in the International Design Year Book 96, the Bozo collection explores the boundaries between product design and the graphic universe. Inspired by Character Design—a trend originating in video games, animation, and comic books—it brings together characters such as Elvis, Nestor, Kif Kif, Turlututu, Bozo, and Bozo Junior, transforming their cheeky silhouettes into lamps, wall lights, ashtrays, and boxes. Made of aluminum and screen-printed polycarbonate, the collection embodies a design approach that is narrative, playful, and sensitive, where each object seems to have its own personality.
